01
The challenge
Customers compare on price and availability within minutes.
02
Our approach
We put sizing guidance and service areas front and centre, then made the booking request the shortest path on the page.
03
The outcome
A comparison-friendly site that answers the buying questions before the call.
Design decisions
Three choices that made the difference.
Sizing guidance instead of a size list
Customers do not know what a 20-yard bin holds. The site translates sizes into real jobs — a bathroom gut, a roof tear-off, a full house clear-out — which is both a UX fix and a content asset.
Pricing logic in the open
Rental period, tonnage allowance and overage terms are stated plainly, removing the phone call that exists only to answer 'how much'.
Booking as the shortest path on the page
Date, size, address. Everything else is confirmed by phone after the request lands.
What the site was built to be found for
Bin and dumpster rental searches across Ottawa, where customers compare three suppliers on price and availability within minutes.
Where we would take it next
Live availability by size and a waste-type guide covering what can and cannot go in a bin.
What we built
- —Bin size guidance mapped to real jobs
- —Transparent pricing and terms content
- —Three-field booking request
- —Service area coverage pages
Responsive build
The same site, engineered for the phone in your customer's hand.
Tap-to-call in the header, a quote action always in reach, and images sized for mobile data. The mobile view is not a shrunken desktop — it is the primary design.
